Trivia[]

  • Iris was originally not the protagonist. That title was supposedly go to the nameless avatar character created specifically for this game. Their backstory would have been an amnesiatic person who struggle to understand the concept of friendship, as well as individuality (who is later revealed to be created by the Emperor of Darkness to serve as commander-in-chief of his army), but this idea was scrapped all together due to StevenStar's Calamity Trigger series having so many avatars in each installment, and Collaterale1 feared that viewers would confuse this game for a another spinoff to the series.
